In the closeup the color looks great on you. I have some tops that are "blocky" for lack of a better word, and make me look squared off (short and squatty). Not a fan of belting but some gals have good success with creating a waistline with a belt. What's your take on belts?
I have to say that this top is beautiful, although answering your question, yes it does not make you look smaller, but I think you look very well put together in it.

I have such a big waist right now that I don't have a belt that fits. But maybe with some work......
