I really thought I wouldn't be able to post till tomorrow. But the running around I had planned was put off by me because it's just too juicy outside. After it stops raining I may get out.
Meanwhile, I think I would really make a splash if all we were supposed to wear was black. Boy do I have that color covered. Pink, not so much. But I am pleased by the outfit anyway. I found the top at Penneys last year. I really like the color even though on my color chart it is a no no. What got my attention was the stitching around the neck. I had tried to get rid of the top because it isn't the type of thing I want to wear. The gathers and all sort of make it part of what I am trying to get away from. But I couldn't let it go because of the stitching. It sort of reminds me of things from India, both in the gold threads and the pink. Anyway, I'm sticking with it. There is stitching around the bottom too but I don't notice that so much. This is my first entry in the color blogging.
