There are several bags included in this blog. You will now see the results of an obsession. There is a Yellow Sharif bag bought on sale. There is a vintage Sharif bag that I ebayed and it is all leather in reds and multi color. There is a small leather bag, ebayed at 11 dollars and I don't know who made it. I am showing an Artist special Sharif bag which I payed way too much money for. I love the front painting. It has metallics on the largest part of the bag and is all leather. A red multi Sharif bag on sale makes me smile with the cute lady on the front and also in leather. The brown Sharif logo bag in leather, also on sale is the bomb to me. Classy. And last but not least, the Sharif leather Spring floral bag, not on sale. Now you see I'm nuts. And you have seen maybe 25% of my bags. I know I have too many but what do I get rid of?

It's in the bag

I love pink this year
My outfit is another ebay shirt. One piece. I was going to separate them but it is big on me and I may sell it if I lose some weight(please). Anyway, the color, as you can see is really bright. And I love it.
The jewelry is an Avon pearl ring, Bangles from Lane Bryant, and a green quartz ring from HSN. The bag you see is from Liz Claibourne and I got it for 25 with shipping from ebay. All leather. I am carrying it right now not because of matching anything but because I love it. And the ebay keds were only about 11. I feel lucky to have gotten both items.

I did an 80's thing and I liked it
The outer blouse I am wearing in the pic has shoulder pads. I really like the way they make my neck look smaller, at least to me. The outer shirt was thrifted for $2.99 and when I bought it I figured on taking out the pads. The shirt is too large for me and I love the colors and the pattern so I am wearing it anyway. I am trying to figure out what to do with it if I lose weight. I'm thinking maybe a vest. As I said the colors and fabric hit a home run with me. The rest of the outfit is the normal slinky HSN stuff and the necklace is again an avon one. I do make jewelry but the avon jewelry is right on the money and I get it for a good price. I actually have a necklace and some earrings that I have had for 20 years and they look as good as new.
The handbags are the beginning of my several part series on growing up through handbags. They are recent additions to my wardrobe and I love them. I only paid full price for one. The teal green one I got from Craigslist for $25 and I waited till it came down from 60. It is a totally leather Jessica Simpson bag and is one of the best made bags I own. The purple is Carlos Falci and is also 100% leather. I prefer leather bags, don't know why. The price on this one was $29 with shipping. I love purple. The mustard yellow is Tignanello. QVC. Full price. Leather and one of the easier bags I have to use. Builtins hold just about everything. I should never watch HSN or QVC because I do really well on things thrifted as I did on the two bags I showed previously. I am talking about bags because they are a long standing interest of mine. I think partly because the bag works no matter how fat you become. But I will show in some later posts that I was also trying to appease myself for my shortcomings by shopping. And as I said, the size didn't matter. I have been through and out the other side of caring if a garment or accessory has a well known label. I'll explain all of that later.
I really want to welcome all of the readers who have joined my blog. I find myself trying harder to find interesting things to include rather than let you down. It's good for me. If anyone wants to know anything about something I write feel free to ask.

I tried
I tried a bathroom shot. Too much light with flash, not enough without. I think I'll try something else next time. Anyway, I had found a great short sleeve green jacket that I paired with tan pants and cami. I love the outfit and it's something I wouldn't h ave had the nerve to try before the blog. I knew the jacket was really cute when I found it at Steinmart but didn't wear it for the longest time. Next I am looking for an outfit for a couple of other things I haven't had the nerve to wear.
I am also showing a couple of pics of bags I got for 6 dollars each at the thrift store. Both brand names and both in perfect shape. I went to another store today and found a cute dress(I don't have any dresses) and jeans jacket that will be great with the orange bag. It seems that this weekend I have been really lucky on the shopping, 3.75 for the dress and 1.00 for the jacket. I love thrifting and I wouldn't have learned to enjoy it without the wonderful blogs I have been reading.
