Tis true these poor animals do tend to get forgotten about, so i will join in sending thoughts to them and hope they as well as their men return home safely.
Amen to sending prayers, thoughts and love to our comrades that can't speak for themselves. The older I get the more upsetting I find anything wrong that is done to animals. Does anyone else feel this way? Just my 2 cents.
